POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
EYES: The undiluted product maybe moderately irritating to the eyes. Eye contact may result in discomfort, tearing, swelling, redness, and blurred vision.
SKIN: This substance is not expected to cause prolonged or significant skin irritation. If absorbed through the skin, this substance is considered practically non-toxic to internal organs.
INGESTION: If swallowed, this substance is considered practically non-toxic to internal organs.
INHALATION: The systemic toxicity of this substance has not been determined. However, it should be practically non-toxic to internal organs if inhaled. Inhalation overexposure to the spray mist may be irritating to the respiratory tract. Respiratory tract irritation may include nasal discharge, sore throat, coughing, bronchitis and breathing difficulties.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Inhalation: Respiratory tract irritation may include nasal discharge, sore throat, coughing, bronchitis and breathing difficulties.

TERATOGENICITY: Triclopyr is not considered to be a teratogen or cause birth defects. Results of rat and rabbit teratology studies indicated that at high dose levels there was evidence of maternal toxicity, but no treatment related developmental changes. The high dose in the rabbit study was 200 mg/kg/dy.
REPRODUCTIVE TOXIN: The results of a 3-generation reproduction study demonstrated no triclopyr associated changes regarding reproductive capacity, growth, pregnancy, parturition, neonatal survival and maturation. The highest dose level was 30 mg/kg/dy.
Carcinogenicity: From MSDS
CARCINOGENICITY COMMENTS: Triclopyr is not considered to be a carcinogen. Results of rat and mouse lifetime feeding studies did not demonstrate any evidence that triclopyr caused an increase in cancer. The only significant findings were increased kidney weights and water consumption and renal tubule changes. The NOEL for both studies was 30 mg/kg/dy.
First Aid: From MSDS

EYES: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water. Call a physician if irritation persists.
SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Get medical attention.
INGESTION: If swallowed, call a physician of Poison Control Center. Do not induce vomiting.
INHALATION: If respiratory discomfort or irritation occurs, move the person to fresh air. See a doctor if discomfort or irritation continues.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: From MSDS
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Keep pesticide in original container. Do not put concentrate or dilute into food or drink containers. Store in a cool, dry place, preferably locked storage area.

ENVIRONMENTAL DATA: Triclopyr has an average half-life in the soil of approximately 30 days. The degradation process is hastened by increased availability of sunlight and bacteria.
ECOTOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Triclopyr has a very low toxicity to fish, waterfowl and birds.
Disposal: From MSDS
FOR LARGE SPILLS: Material collected that cannot be reprocessed should be disposed of in a landfill approved for pesticide disposal or in accordance with applicable Federal, State or local procedures.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL: The Solaris Group is committed to responsible environmental practices and recommends that all of the product be used up, carefully following all label directions and precautions.
If necessary to dispose of partially filled or empty container, securely wrap container in newspaper and put in trash.
EMPTY CONTAINER: Do not reuse container.
