Potential Health Effects

Routes of Exposure: Ingestion. Inhalation. Skin contact. Eye contact.

Eye Contact: Irritating to eyes. May cause permanent damage if eye is not irrigated.

Skin Contact: Irritating to skin. Skin contact may aggravate an existing dermatitis.

Inhalation: Irritating to mucous membranes.

Ingestion: Irritating to mucous membranes. Large exposures may be fatal.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

Hazardous by OSHA criteria.
Carcinogenicity: No information available.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Immediately rinse with water for several minutes. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

Skin Contact: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped and call an ambulance.

Ingestion: Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Only induce vomiting at the instruction of medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If victim is fully conscious, give a cupful of water. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

Notes to physician: If the product is ingested, probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Treat the affected person appropriately.
