Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 120 deg F or in sun or discarding can in fire or incinerator may cause bursting. Emergency Overview
This product is regulated by the US EPA as a disinfectant. PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Potential Health Effects
Routes of exposure: Eye, Skin contact, Inhalation, Ingestion.
Eye Contact: Moderately irritating to the eyes.
Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation.
Inhalation: Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard. Serious effects may be delayed following exposure.
Ingestion: Ingestion of large amounts may produce gastrointestinal disturbances including irritation, nausea, and diarrhea.
Signs and Symptoms: Symptoms may include redness, edema, drying, defatting and cracking of the skin. Symptoms of overexposure may be headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting.

Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Skin Contact: Get medical attention immediately. In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
Inhalation: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the Poison Control Center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment.
Notes to physician: Treat patient symptomatically. Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.
General advice: If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children.

Handling/Disposal

Ensure adequate ventilation. Use good industrial hygiene practices in handling this material. When using do not eat or drink. Avoid contact with skin and clothing. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid breathing vapors or mists of this product. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco. Store in original container, protected from direct sunlight, in a dry, cool, well ventilated area, and away from food and drink. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Store in a dry place no lower in temperature than 50F or higher than 120 deg F. Use appropriate container to avoid environmental contamination. Keep out of reach of children. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. |
Dispose in accordance with all applicable regulations. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste Representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance. CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Clean container promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Fill container 1/4 full with water and recap. Agitate vigorously. Follow Pesticide Disposal instructions for rinsate disposal. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat procedure 2 more times. Then offer for recycling or reconditioning. If not available, puncture and dispose in a sanitary landfill. |
