From MSDSEmergency Overview: This material is a waterbased water repellent used to protect wood decks and other wood surfaces. It is a milky white fluid with a mild odor. It has a flash point greater than 200 F.Primary Routes of Exposure: Eye, SkinPotential Health Effects:Eye: Contact may cause eye irritation.Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation.Ingestion: Not anticipated to produce adverse health effects. Inhalation: Not anticipated to produce adverse health effects. |

Eye contact: Avoid eye contact. If eye contact occurs, immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Skin contact: Avoid prolonged skin contact. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists. Ingestion: Do not swallow. If swallowed, contact a physician or Poison Control Center. Induce vomiting if directed to do so by medical personnel. NEVER GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON. Inhalation: Avoid breathing vapors and mist. If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention.Note to Physician: There is no specific antidote for effects from overexposure to this material. Treatment should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical manifestations. |
